At the Academy was established as a print studio in the fall of 2009. When developing a project, we are devoted to maintaining the freedom and independence of the author or artist, while also appreciating the dedicated craftsmanship of graphic design, print, and bookmaking.

Our facilities and services are available at a low cost to artistic, academic, and non-profit organisations, groups, and individuals – please send us an email for more information.

The name, At the Academy, is inspired by and pays homage to Guy Sherwin, who in 1974 made At the Academy – a conceptual found-footage film made entirely from academy leader.

At the Academy's printing press is kindly sponsored by the Danish Arts Council and BKF – The Danish Association of Visual Artists.
